Hi Natalie
Not many characters on twitter back to you.
When things are good with ra they shine through big time however when pain is evident along with stiffness/lack of movement it reminds me that I'm not superwoman!
Me personally in the past and probably on the future have shed tears - what I could do before ra and learning to adjust with ra. The sad thing is my little one doesn't know any better than me being a bit slower than my hubby out and about!!
I'm a positive person where I don't do the "I can't" but instead I've learnt to adapt!!
I've never been able to climb up high at soft play with my little one......BUT that's what my hubby is there for!
If rheumatology say go down the anti tnf's route - take it! (She says 4 weeks of being on anti tnf's) as I was saying on twitter DM to you, I take enbrel because if it doesn't work then it goes out of the system quickly ready to start another!
I don't inject in front of my little one (no need to alarm her).
If you feel your body needs fixing, then mention to rheumy to get you referred to orthp department. I did to give me more mobility in the future....and make me less mangled!
Take what is offered to you to help you be more mobile, and blast the loopy ra!
You are not alone
Sending you a gentle hug
Jane
